Lamers Motor Racing

Lamers Motor Racing originated as a single midget racing team based in Appleton, WI in 1993. Over the years, our team has achieved remarkable success in various racing disciplines. Our accomplishments include securing the Badger Midget Championship, claiming the prestigious U.S.A.C. Sprint Car National Championship in 1998 and 2000, and emerging victorious in the SCCA National Championship for BT-1 (Trans-Am) cars at Mid-Ohio in 2003.

Furthermore, our team has dominated the June Sprints GT-1 races for a remarkable six consecutive years from 2000 to 2005. In 2008, we emerged as the champions in the W.I.R. Limited Late Model Stock Car Championship. Throughout our journey, we have competed in midgets, sprint cars, road racing cars, formula cars, and stock cars, achieving success in all these areas except for the cup race.

Our team has had the privilege of racing against some of the finest drivers in the industry, including renowned names like Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, and Ryan Newman in midgets and sprint cars. It is worth noting that many of these accomplished drivers have transitioned to NASCAR, and we have closely followed their footsteps.
